Mom’s quilt

I finished the quilting on Mom’s Block of the Month quilt. I quilted a pantograph called Popcorn – I think it looks like clouds and it suits this house quilt.

This quilt is so cute! I just love it! What type of applique did your Mom do–needleturn or fusible web or? Did you stitch over the applique?

I love your blog and am so inspired by your Block of the Month quilt. I haven’t done an applique quilt yet. It scares the daylights out of me. But I do love quilting so you may have inspired me!

Your mom does beautiful work. The quilt is extraordinary.

Chesty looks very comfy in his window seat. He must have had a hard day too.

Isn’t it fun to meet fellow quilters? It’s been many years since I’ve been to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

What an adorable quilt, your mom is very talented. Those log cabin blocks s in the border are terrific!

What a beautiful quilt. I like the popcorn panto too. I’ll be adding it to my list after I finally get to take my first class next Monday!

That’s a neat quilt and popcorn was the perfect panto for it. Has your mom seen it yet? I know she’s going to love it! Is she going to keep this one?

    Mary,
I love this BOM, where did your Mom get the pattern? I’m a realtor and I’ve been wanting to do a house quilt for my office and this one is adorable.
