Are you quilting this weekend?
September 20th, 2008 | Author: Mary
Judy‘s holding a Quiltathon this weekend and while I won’t be quilting the entire time I will be participating. Since I couldn’t sleep, I got up and loaded a top pieced by Marianne and destined for Alycia’s QOV Project.
What will you work on this weekend?

Books I’m reading

We are headed to dubuque, ia and then chicago for our son’s soccer games! i really would LOVE to sit down and quilt but with the house on the market now…i hate to mess up the room! i have a quilt i need to do for my sister, wanted to take it to her next weekend but i doubt that will be happenin’ anytime soon!
have fun! your post card is adorable as well!

Your card is so sweet Mary. I’ll be sewing as soon as I get my bottom off thsi chair and get going. Have a great weekend.
I’ve been going through all those kits I used to be so fond of buying and starting to make them! A log cabin using all homespun is on the agenda.
Cute postcard.
sigh, not much quilty stuff here, I need to scrape parts of the outside of my house to paint. But the weather is georgeous, so won’t complain. Good luck sewing.
Borders, ugh. Why oh why don’t I like to do borders? So, I cleared off the floor and so far have added 2 side borders to 1 quilt and 2 side borders, plus pinned the top and bottom for the 2nd. It is boring and doesn’t seem like much, but at least it is a step in the right direction for a finish!
Cheers!
Evelyn
heh .. i dealt with some list drama last nite and so treated myself to a sleep in .. here is a mini sew-in on one of my lists (they are testing my mystery pattern) and while they do that, i’m setting up all the sections that i have flannel for .. i’ll have 7 of 9 set up, 1 is completely quilted, 2 partially – i’ll do the freemotion on all the sections then do the straight stitching .. saves me having to change feed all the time .. and cover the dogs and and and and .. LOL
sorry you asked??
