Alone again….

Keith’s tied up on my birthday again, in fact he’ll be busy and not home all week for dinner even though he’s in town….rather than feel sorry for myself for being alone, I booked the afternoon on Tuesday at the Ivy Spa.

Doesn’t it sound like a great way to spend a birthday when no one else is available to help you celebrate?

That is taking control! Looks like a wonderful place to spend the day…I just went for a facial as part of my birthday present. Feels great. Enjoy your day!

Oh Mary, what a shame, but good for you for giving yourself a grand day. Am sure you will love it.
Maybe NEXT YEAR, Keith will make it, third time lucky and all that.
Meantime, you get yourself dolled up and looking more beautiful than usual, open the wine and relax. That’s R-E-L-A-X…lol Jan xx
    Happy Birthday for Tuesday.

To be honest. If I had the choice of spending my birthday with DH or at a spa like that I know which one I would choose.

    Enjoy and happy birthday!

Happy Birthday! That’s way better than my birthday is going to be…I have to report for Jury Duty on my birthday! Good thing the courthouse is around the corner from a yarn store and down the street from a quilt shop! Enjoy…

Mary ~ Happy Birthday! When I was recently in Minneapolis I had the great good fortune of spending time at the Ivy Spa. All I can say is that I’m fortunate that place isn’t in my hometown or my pocketbook would always be empty. What a special place it is ~ had an incredible experience and can’t think of a better birthday present to give yourself! ENJOY!!

Now that’s what I call positive thinking. It looks like a fabulous place to go and be pampered. What treatments will you have I wonder?

  • sewprimitive karen:

I remember this from last year! Good thing you made a Plan.

  • Owens Family Adventures:

Happy happy birthday to you my friend!!! Get yourself to a spa and have the full treatment. 🙂
On the quilt show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims they had this spot on there about Quilts Of Valor and also they talked about the different ways quilters give to the community. I thought about you and all the hard work you do on the Heartstrings Quilts. I just wanted you to know that you are a hero in my book and I like you very much.
    Hugs on your birthday!!
