We see rather a lot of storm activity that looks like that. I have come to dislike it. On the other hand, I do like to cosy up with dogs & quilts & just view it from comfort & warmth.
I kind of like having a stormy day or two while on vacation — it forces you to just stop and chill for a while (although it sounds like you've been doing that anyway — LOL)
