I started to clean up the quilt trimmings

But I didn’t get very far before I started a new set of HeartStrings blocks. We’re having a Block Party this month and I couldn’t wait to get started. Bad photos taken with my phone but I’m too lazy to go retake them with the camera.

I think Chesty was glad I didn’t get it all cleaned up! He’s very overdue for grooming but I’m finally taking him tomorrow — he will look completely different!

  • Chesty looks like a little plushy toy in that first photo!

  • Linda:

He looks so adorable sitting there in front of your design wall. You just want to pick him up and snuggle him.

  • It’s obviously hard work being Chesty and having to guard all your quilting stuff for you!

Chesty looks so darling and fluffy-just like a little toy!

  • Flatlander (Linda):

OMGosh, he’s so absolutely adorable. He looks good with a haircut but I think even more adorable with it longer and curly. Isn’t it better in the winter months to leave it longer so he’s warmer? Love how he likes to just sleep in the middle of the action … lol

  • i really like the darker colors – the dark teal and rusty reds – in your current blocks. is that just from the phone picture or are they really the colors you’re using? i don’t think i’ve ever seen a combination like that before. it will (like all your quilts!) be beautiful when it’s complete!

and of course, poofy-boy is as darling as ever!

  • I love how he even brought his little shoe toy to be close by while he slept. So cute!
