Lots of quilts to show
Thanks for all comments with sympathy for Chesty, unfortunately he’s going to need to have bladder stones removed and we have an appointment on Friday to see if he’s a candidate for Lithotripsy. If not, he’ll have to have surgery to remove them.
I did manage to get the quilts for my talk tomorrow packed up — I don’t know how those of you who routinely talk to guilds carry your quilts but I had so many I wanted to show this time that these two duffel bags were perfect. The green bags contain four quilts that Sheree is going to help me out by binding.
Chesty gets nervous when he see any kind of packing going on and I’m sure he’s wondering where I’m heading.
Look at the poor boy. You shave him, haul him to the vet and then pack to leave him! He’s got that ”
How much more do you expect me to take?” look!
I’m sorry to hear the Chesty isn’t feeling well… Hope he’s better real soon!
I’m sorry to hear about Chesty. Cats get a similar problem quite a lot that we can control with diet but I didn’t know dogs get it too. I hope you can go with the easier procedure.
Chesty does have that “where do you think you are going now?” look, doesn’t he? Poor little thing. Hope he’s better real soon. Have fun showing your quilts.

I hope that he does not have to have the surgery and that he gets well soon.
I think he is posing, thinking that if he looks really cute for the picture, you with either not leave or will take him with you.
I agree with Gari, he’s giving you THE look, the one that guarantees to melt you. Hope he doesn’t need surgery.

Oh poor little thing, I hope Chesty feels better soon! It’s so worrisome when “dog babies” get sick. Have fun at your talk and meeting. I wish I could be there, too.

Oh, that Chesty is just TOO CUTE and I sure hope he gets fixed in a hurry, preferably withOUT surgical intervention!! Good luck on the talk; I know it will be GREAT!!
Sorry to hear that Chesty has been under the weather. Hope he is feeling better soon- Pets are important members of one’s family.
Good luck with your guild presentation- I am sure you will do a terrific job- your duffle bag looks like a great solution to take your quilts to show. Lucky guild – they will enjoy all your beautiful pieces I am sure.

When I did a lot of guild presentations I had two duffles on wheels to haul everything around. I still use them going to retreats!
Hope all goes well with Chesty’s test today…

Rolling duffle bags might even be better – if yours don’t roll. I got 2 at Wal-Mart for I think $24 each for our trip to Europe.
