More help!
Last night Sheree took 4 more quilts for binding and brought these 4 back that she and Cindy bound for me. The first two were sent to me by San (Gypsy Quilter) and are intended as Quilts of Valor.
The Happy Block quilt was pieced by Ann (sent to me by Liz)
And finally, this was pieced by Sue and her group in CA.
What a huge help Sheree and Cindy have been with the binding and makes me wonder why I resisted having help for so long — probably because binding has always been my time to sit and admire a quilt and think about the person who would receive it and the warmth and comfort it will provide. I won’t send them all away for binding but for now I’m really appreciate of the help.

sometimes we can feel more productive with help. i’ve just managed to finally let someone else finish some of my quilts, i still want to quilt them but they can bind and label. i’ve resisted for well over the past six years of health issues. hard to admit you can’t do it all. you do so much for heartstrings anyway. hugs, patti (hope chesty is doing well)
Hi Mary,
I bet you wonder where I have been. Busy sewing that’s where I have been. I made a conscious effort to actually DO some sewing instead of talking about it. Easily done, to chat and not sew!!!
I am totally in awe of all these beautiful Quilts here, every one of them a winner, I love them to bits, I look at my fabric stash and wonder if I will be able to make such cheerful Quilts as these are, I think I need to get some reds and yellows and oranges, to cheer up the blues and browns.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Still not got my email answering bit back, such a pain. I wish I knew how to do it myself. Doh!
lol Jan a x the pond
Mary there’s a really neat new way to do binding all by machine in the Dec/Jan Quilter’s Newsletter. I saw a couple quilts this past Wed. at our longarm meeting … sorry I didn’t take a photo.
I mentally have it in my head to do soon.
Nice pics, I especially like the quilt with the purple borders.

Beautiful quilts, and quilting, again. Thanks for showing us.
