Working while I wait

A couple quilts trimmed, a binding made and stitched onto the quilt, a backing pieced, and unlike my usual pace of taking 2-3 days to assemble blocks into a top, I got all the brown centered HeartStrings blocks assembled this morning.

Now I need to stop stalling and go down and load one of my aunt’s tops on the longarm.

I am with everyone else hoping and praying your little friend will be just fine when you hear from the vet. It is obvious that he is one of your “kids.”
I am always amazed at what you accomplish, but I know that when I am stressing about other things, quilting seems to go better and I always get so much more done. Seems to be true for you, as well. Love this quilt, can’t wait to see how you quilt it.

The colors in this quilt are great. I hope everything comes out fine with your dog.

This is a very warm and classy looking string quilt. Really nice.

  • This is very pretty! It’s such a nice color palette.

  • That was a lot of nervous energy put to good use! The quilt looks great; warm and inviting.

Mary, that brown strings quilt is gorgeous! I really need to make a string quilt – they’re so striking, and so simple.
So glad Chesty is through his ordeal and healing. Our little pets are so precious to us and when they hurt, we hurt.
