The monster quilt is done!

I’m not sure what I was thinking when I chose Plumage for this quilt — other than it would look good. After days of chugging away at it, my aunt’s 2nd top is quilted. Now I just have two pillow shams to do for her and I’ll be done.

Goodness that’s gorgeous and I’m quite taken with that thin strip in the border as well. Delectable. Where’s the candy? I was thinking something cheesecake like would be nice to eat while adoring this quilt. GADS!!! Did you just read me? I don’t need anymore food for goodness sakes. Stop the foody thing, Karen.

Wow, you are getting so much done. I am in a slump and just can’t get fired up. But I love to look at your site and see all the things that you get done.

Wow, Mary, it looks fantastic. You’re right, the panto is perfect. I hate doing really large quilts too. I just finished the biggest one I’ve ever done – and, I decided to do custom on it (turning and all). Boy, was I regretting it when it was on the frame, but so happy I stuck it out when it was finished (and I’m glad it’s for me!)
