Working…

I’m puttering around assembling the HeartStrings top, hand piecing the Applecore blocks, reading, and setting up and meeting with a couple contractors to repair the ceiling.

I’ve got some postcards to make for our family exchange and quilts to get washed so I can get them donated but I don’t have many goals for this month and am working at a very relaxed pace.

I’m reading the new Sue Grafton book — U is for Undertow.

  • How is the handpiecing coming along? Are you getting the hand of it yet?

  • Is it a paper book or on your Kindle. I still haven’t bought one but continue to be interested in them.

I just got the new Sue Grafton book too! Can’t wait to dive in and do nothing else– but read, drink a cup of hot cocoa, and watch the rain. ( no snow here). Sounds sooooo relaxing….

I just asked for that book for Christmas. I’ve read every one of hers. Have you read them too? T is for Trespass was really good. I know someone who is going through a similar situation with an elderly father with dementia and it really hit home. I deliberately didn’t lend her that book. It would have made her crazy.
    Love those postcards. So pretty

I’m on the waiting list for Sue’s new book – so don’t tell me how it ends!! I also just read “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett. I would highly recommend this book!

Love all your projects, Mary! Have a wonderful Christmas!
