Books I’m reading

LOVE the quilt, Mary. I have a special love of quilts with dark backgrounds … love Amish quilts for their simplicity and the colors. Chesty looks really good against this quilty background … but then he’s so handsome to begin with he’d look fabulous against any background! You’re diligence in straightening up your sewing room has inspired me. Snowing (again) in Pittsburgh so am working in my sewing “cave” so that I can sit and watch some of the football games with a little less guilt! LOL
Very pretty quilt, and what a handsome little fellow showing it off! I just love his sweet face — he always makes me smile.
Oooooh, I LOVE that pattern! I have templates to make a quilt like that. May have to get it on my to do list soon.
Chesty is absolutely the cutest dog I’ve ever seen, I wish I could hug and cuddle him and pet his gorgeous curls. Nice quilt too
).
That Chesty..such a cute little show-off! I have a Schnibbles pattern that looks like the same pattern as this one. Must get busy on it!
It’s good to see Chesty with longer curls again. It looks like he is feeling better.
Love the quilt and quilting, too.
Wow! Another quilt finished. Chesty is so adorable!
The quilt is lovely, but Chesty looks so fab. He is so cute I just want to ‘squnch’ him. (that’s like a hug and a squeeze and a ‘oh my gosh you are just soo cute I can’t stand it!)
Mr Otis gets them all the time.
Wow you are really off to a good start this year. Chesty is so darn cute and makes me smile whenever he is in the picture. Just want to hug him!!!!
I adore Chesty too. He looks so cuddly.
Nice quilt too.
Chesty is so fluffy…I bet he likes having his own personal fluffy coat. Notice you have Johan Sanford on you “books I’m readying” have you read his new series with Vigil Flowers?
Chesty knows how to get in the picture. So cute. And the quilt is very pretty too.
So pretty! And the quilt is, too! lol
I’ve made this pattern several times, but always as a two color quilt. I never thought to make a scrappy one! I think I’ll have to make one like this.
Love the quilt and the quilting but love the model best of all!
Ooohhh…. I like this one! What is the name of it? I have a baby quilt to make for a boy and I’m thinking that one might be kind of fun!
Chesty–you handsome ham!!
Looks like Chesty believes that quilt is just for him…. too cute!
Chesty is just like a professional. He is so gorgeous.
I have a question about the quilting. What kind of thread do you use? It doesn’t really stand out on the light or the dark fabrics.
Love those colors! Beautiful quilt!
Chesty is such a sweet quilt model! You must just love opening your mail if everyone sends you such beautiful quilts to quilt! Cheers! Evelyn
He does add a little something extra to the picture doesn’t he? So cute! Jenn
