Hello Mary!

Guess it is time to come out and tell you THANK YOU! so much for your Quick Strippie quilt instructions. My little retirement community quilt group has been making them for our Project Linus chapter. LOVE it! Great way to make a wonderful quilt, using a novelty fabric that kids will love.

Thanks for all that you do...for FREE! to help your "fellow" quilters,

It does look quite similar - I would have had the same reaction! But really, there are so many quick strippies out there in the world, being loved every day, and so many people using your pattern to keeping making them. This one can't hold a candle to the original!

common and understandable feeling.
others with similar discoveries say same thing.

bonnie hunter was so upset when she saw one places pattern being sold

bonnie has bars one and strippy one.

legally all they have to do is alter size or colors
its exact wording of directions with the same pattern that cant be copied

as they say..
are no original ideas anymore

know we totally love and appreciate what you do for us and everyone!!!

you give from your heart
each who takes is grateful
remember that

I have used that stripie pattern at least 300 times to make quilts for kids in Kazakhstan and here locally. This weekend a group of people are getting together to put about 40 more of these guys together for local foster kids! What would I do without that simple, yet great quilt pattern? I really appreciate you sharing it with us and like they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Mary - I'm sure that the ad people saw your quilt and copied it. I think I'd believe that everybody copied it cuz it's so much fun to see your quilt all over the place. Your quilts are all gorgeous and fun to do and we all love them --- and do them!

Guess there's nothing new under the sun. But you have an amazing site, with lots of free patterns that you're very generous with. I'm planning on making some quilts with your patterns, and I'll send you some pictures when I do!
