I almost missed my Tuesday goals
After hand stitching the binding on this donation top by Tamera while watching the Olympics this evening, I managed to piece a backing and make a few string blocks so my Tuesday goals were met.

Beautiful … LOVE the colors. Quilt seems like “whirlies” are “stacked” on top of one another … love the movement that gives it. You can really see your quilting in the green borders.
It does feel good to accomplish what you set out to do. Usually I manage it, but sometimes life gets in the way! I’ve learned to be more realistic in how much I can expect to accomplish in a day. Sounds like you’ve got it down, too.

I wanted to make that and could NOT find the ruler for it… my local quilt shop even looked in her huge book of supplies to see if she could order it for me but could not find it
