Two birds with one stone
Lori from SD and her friend Theresa are in town and we wanted to meet for lunch so I suggested the Mall of America because I could take the light rail down and then shop for my dress for Adam’s wedding afterwards.
The jacket looks rather shapeless in the photo above but it’s more flattering on and it has a matching sleeveless top. It also has a pretty purple piping and although it looks very VERY busy in these photos it’s more subtle in person.

Wow! A real dress – that means stockings and shoes, too. I didn’t even wear a dress to my own wedding 4 years ago. I love the dress, anything with purple and black will be a knockout. Don’t forget to post a picture of you in it, and the rest of the wedding party would be okay as well. ;o)

It’s really lovely and I wish I could find something even close to it. I’m looking for a dress(or whatever) for James & Dani’s Sept. wedding. I positively hate shopping for clothes. You really got lucky there. That’s so elegant looking.
You must be doing a formal evening event, because around here the bride and groom’s moms don’t wear black. That must just be a “southern thing” though.
