Last night’s finish
Overcast still but not raining right now — here’s another one of MY HeartStrings quilts. Two of my quilts in a row – unusual but I’m enjoying working on my stuff a little this month. This one just happens to be a UFO from last year too so it’s my 7th finished UFO for the year and since my goal is to finish 12 (or one per month) I’m on track with that.
Quilted with my favorite freehand Baptist Fans!
This one has one of my Off Center 4 patch backings and I love how it coordinates with the top.

Another beautiful finish. I love a pieced backing! I really enjoy visiting your blog daily. One of these days, I am going to make a Heartstrings quilt…that is, if I can get my UFOs caught up!
Seems like no matter what fabric goes into a string quilt, the end result is good.
very nice! And good that you’re doing some of your own.
Really beautiful…lovely backing and another great striped binding
Love all those blues. Great backing!
SOooo bright & cheerul! Love it! Gotta quilt me some baptist fans… love them!
Pretty quilt, and the backing really does just set if off perfectly.
Looks like I am going to have to get my string quilt blocks out again. Everytime I come here and see those beautiful quilts I get the urge. Now is that a good thing or a bad thing? Mmmmmm.
Oh. I am hopefully going to get some socck yarn tommorrow. Yeah!!!!!!
Beautiful colours on your quilts. I love them!
