A little me time!
Love the family but I’m happy to have the next few days to myself. I always forget how much I miss being at our Condo in North Georgia. It’s been for sale since we moved to Minneapolis but as you can imagine, in the current economy not many people are looking to purchase vacation homes.
As I turn off the highway, I see the mountains in the distance.

My favorite chair where I’ve already spent a quiet hour with my knitting, Chesty and an audiobook.
I don’t have a machine here but I’ve got my AppleCore quilt out and ready to work on tonight. I’m hand piecing these blocks that I cut with my Accuquilt GO but haven’t worked on them since December so this trip was a good opportunity to make some progress on them.
He looks happy to be there with you! It’s so pretty..a shame you don’t get to use the place more.

You are way closer to me now. Have you seen the Kindle app for your iPad? Now I can read through Kindle and Nook, all on the iPad. Have a great vacation. Oh, the grandbaby is really cute.
It looks like such a wonderful place! When I was a child we would visit an old cabin in the mountains with no heat, no hot water, no TV and no telephone. I thought it was marvelous. The only things to do were play board games, read library books and hike. I would definitely bring sewing material with me if I were to go now!

I am making a red and green apple core hand pieced quilt, too. I have not worked on mine for a while either. Maybe it is time to find it and open that box again!
