Books I’m reading

It solves the problems with white.
But yes I do love the impact of black on a quilt.
I love black for the background and Bear Paw too. A terrific combo.
I love the black! I have had a Bear Paw on my list since the late 70s. I hand pieced the first block and thought it would be perfect for my son. Thirty years later and the addition of a second son and I still don’t have it done – but don’t worry, I won’t be hand piecing it!
Very pretty and I can picture it quilted with King Tut Joseph’s Coat thread (very bright variegated)!
Beautiful! The colors are magic…
That is cool! I had to look hard for the bear paw block!
Beautiful, and dramatic.
OH, wow! That is a very striking quilt.
Going to have to make a black background quilt soon.
Absolutely.
Have never made a bear claw but do love the pattern… and LOVE brights on black… think they really pop… made my daughters baby wall hanging quilt with a black background & bright colors!
A local guild had their quilt show themed “Bears Paw” one year and it was the BEST show I’ve seen in a long time. Love the black background ~ can’t wait to see the finished top!
LOVE the way you’ve used the brights on this one – it would be a real STUNNER
