Another outing with Susan and Wendi

Breakfast first and after Susan showed us her current quilt in progress made with vintage blocks, we went to SR Harris and Quilted Treasures Quilt shop. I thought it was very fun to cut my own fabrics at SR Harris!

Sorry for the blurred photos…I was using the cell phone.

Wow, that sure looks like fun!

  • O my goodness; cut your own fabrics? I am SO there!!!

  • Pat B:

SR Harris is an interesting warehouse, with all of the fabric and the cut your own fabric. It boggles the mind when you enter the place.

Quilted Treasures is a great shop too.

Looks like you had a great day.

O my God I died and went to heaven just seeing a picture of all that fabric. I would be so dizzy I would not know what to do where it this Wonderland of Fabric? ^-^

  • The quilt in progress is very interesting. I like the theme of it. I need to study the picture some more.
Where were you shopping that the fabric is stacked like it is. Looks like there could be some hidden treasures.

  • Look at all that fabric behind you! WOW!

  • Shari:

Oh My Stars!! I’d never be able to choose with that much fabric in one place. Where is this place?

  • Wow…. I wish we would have such fabric shops in my area too. We have nice shops, but as quilting is not as popular around here than in in US, usually only a small percent of the available fabric is quilting quality cotton. So I order from the net, but I would love to choose things in real life.
