Blowing up blocks

I love blowing up star blocks to make a quick quilt! The first one I’d ever done was years ago from a Fons and Porter magazine. Terri’s been quilting a Carpenter’s Star on her site that inspired me to play with my own version for a quick donation quilt.

I love blowing up the Carpenter Star. I give them away as baby blankets to my husbands coworkers as the occasions arise. Your border to make the blanket rectangular is a great idea. I may borrow that one, if you don’t mind.

Oh my Gosh! Look at Caleb!

Wow…I was honestly doing the exact same thing (upscaling and Carpenter’s Star) on the same day. Great minds think alike?!?
