Stash Manicure

I’m the guest blogger today at Stash Manicure where I share instructions for this quick little quilt pieced earlier this month and inspiration for other Rail Fence Quilts.

While you’re there, check out posts from the other guests and start using that stash!

Good morning, Mary! Your tutorials are always great and I love the colors you’ve used here! I haven’t made one of these in ages….wheels are starting to turn….! Lots of scraps left, so I’ll be cranking one out again soon.

You did a great blog on Stash Manicure; giving readers an easy way to use scrap fabrics. In fact after looking at your autumn quilt once again I am planning to do a rail fence using a focus fabric (pictorial or kids print) in blocks like you had the leaf pattern. Would work great when not having a large amount of the pictorial fabric so can use it up. Never thought to use a rail fence design. I’m sure others will find new applications with your wonderful designs.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

I do like Rail Fence, and this color combo works great. Also love the stars and churn dash. That’s going to be a great quilt!
