Pantographs

I know not everyone likes them but there are many patterns that look lovely quilted out and on a day like today when I’m completely uninspired and not really in the mood to quilt but still need to make progress on my goals – they’re just what I’m looking for.

On the machine is my Forest Bricks top

And I’m quilting Lush Leaves on it

That will be a beautiful pattern for the colors of the quilt. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

  • The leaves are a perfect match for Forest Bricks. I can’t wait to see it off of the machine.

I love pantos!!! That is what I use for the majority of my quilting. There are some wonderfully talented artists out there that have done all of the drawing and spacing for me, so why not take advantage of their talent! This is a perfect panto for this quilt! I love this pattern, I have one all cut out to make for a donation quilt. It is going to be very scrappy for the large brick pieces, I will then use the same fabric for the small rectangle pieces to give it some continuity.

I love this pattern! I tried downloading it, but I couldn’t open it? Will have to check my version of Adobe…
Anyhow, just wondering what those clips are for holding the quilt on the bar? I fully pin my quilts and am getting tired of it, especially for smaller quilts, so wondering what else can work, and those clips look great! Can you tell me where you got them?
    thanks!

  • That will make a nice pattern and give it a nice element of design also. I like the stitching like it is and I look forward to seeing it finished.

    Hi Mary,
Beautiful quilts, as always. I noticed those white clips you have on your top. What are those called and where could I find them. I was also wondering if you always float your tops? I am still such a newbie with my Gammill and pantos seem to be giving me trouble. With the school year coming to and end I will have more time to work on conquering those. Thanks again for sharing your gifts with all of us.
    Have a great holiday weekend.
    Ann
