I’m going to finish in time

Got the scrappy binding pieced and on – now just have to do the hand stitching and I have 3 days so I will finish up my July UFO in time. It’s kind of neat using a scrappy binding on this HeartStrings Anniversary quilt because so many of the scraps are from binding Heartstrings quilts that I’ve finished and donated and I have a piece of them in my quilt now.

COMMENTS: I loved all the recent comments and discussion but wanted to say that I got several sent back as undeliverable.  Please check your email address next time you comment and make sure there’s not a typo. I did try to respond to everyone.

  • I am also working as fast as I can to get my July UFO complete and posted before the 31st. This month was a tough one with a lot of work to do.

Congratulations for staying on track!! Know how you feel about not moving, we went through that five years ago, my husband even put our home on the market and then a couple of weeks later took it off as he changed his mind. We like where we live, he enjoys his job, our four sons live with us still, but our daughter and four grandchildren live on an island below us so its a flight or ten hour ferry trip to see them. So I was like you torn in two and drained! Life goes on and now the grandchildren phone me and chat, even the two year old hops on for a talk. Sweet!
