Beautiful job.
I wish you had posted a photo of the back, too.
Beautiful!

It is really beautiful–so bright and cheerful. I LOVE scrap quilts—everytime you look at it you will see something new!
Very pretty and special too.
To me the best thing abut a quilt is the story it tells. This quilt tells a great story. I’m hand stitching the binding on my first string quilt, which I learned to make thanks to you, right now.
Congratulations I love it when I finish a quilt it is kind of a happy/sad time. I am happy it is done and sad that I don’t have something to do now that it is done.
Mary,
Can you give any tips on bindings for quilts – since you do so many?
I’m trying to do one today and just couldn’t get it right. I tried twice and failed and will have to try again tomorrow. The binding is attached alright, but fixing the other side is what’s giving me trouble. Hints and tips appreciated. SinCT
Mary,
Whoo Hoo! Way to go! I would also love to see the back. The competitive streak in us sometimes has its bright side. lol

Was it that long ago- 2008? I remember sending a block with a heart fabric strip
in it. Your quilt turned out very wonderful. The quilting is perfect!
