November 24th, 2011 | Author: Mollie
Since I’m not cooking a big meal – I had time to do some binding during the football game.
I LOVE these little Strippies!

Books I’m reading

I love that Little Quilt as well. I am doing the same binding a friends quilt for her. She quilted several years ago in my old mid arm and never came back for it. Now she was wanting it for a Christmas gift. I should have it done for before she leave for home on Sunday. I love binding. Happy Thanksgiving
I made a strippie quilt last night and got the backing ready today. What a quick quilt and it turned out as cute as can be. Thanks for the idea and directions.
Such a cute little quilt
Nice strippy quilt Mary! I wouldn’t have thought to put the dinosaur print and the stripe together but I love it! Is this by chance going to be a Christmas gift for the handsome Caleb?
Me too! I have encouraged several quilting friends to love that pattern too. It’s my go-to pattern when I need something quick and cute. Thanks for sharing it!
Mary, we were referred to your strippy quilt pattern from Cheri at http://jovaliquilts.blogspot.com/ She and the Illini Country Stitchers were making them for Project Linus. Hubby has a long arm and volunteers to quilt some of their donations. In the past couple of years, I have made dozens (myself) for Project Linus. We try to make as many as possible for teen boys, as that seems to be a constant need. We use a lot of wilderness and sports themes. All I need to do is adjust for a larger size. Great quilt! I’ve been meaning to Thank You for a long time! Thank You!
That is really cute!
Hi Mary–Marvelling how the combination of the three fabrics “married” so well together. Actually, I believe you have a reversible quilt there. Enjoy your blog immensely..
