My goal this month was to get the remaining 9 HeartStrings tops quilted or tied before the end of the month and #8 is finished.
Quilted with what Dawn calls Fern Ziggle (I call it blob quilting) from the Pajama Quilter DVD, the top was pieced by Sue or her Mom from HeartStrings blocks sent in for group quilts.
More fun than plain meandering but basically just as easy. My version tends to be a bit linear because of my smaller throat space but it still works well.
Great looking quilting pattern, looks like it would be fairly quick as well.

I love it! Do you stitch the curved line first and then go back and do the meander top and bottom?
I have mastered this design from one of your previous quilts and it goes really fast on the domestic. I just got the pyjama DVD and workbook and I am excited to try some more of the designs.
The quilts are so beautiful – the recipients are going to be so happy!
I love the fern ziggle, mine also comes out more linear than I would like but still love it. Can kind of zone out while doing it.
