I love my lists

Since Apple came out with iOS 5 I’ve been using the Reminders app for my goals. Although this one says March it’s really meant to carry me through March and into April until my next trip. As you can see, I’ve marked off all but one top I need to quilt for Mom.

In most cases, what I end up doing is adding more to the list and I’ve started a couple things, the Solid stars and strings blocks and a new embroidery piece but this week I’m just taking it easy.

Maybe next week I’ll add a few more things to the list but tonight I started my embroidery on the little landscape. I’ve mentioned Adobe Ideas before and how I use that to practice/audition quilting designs so I decided to try out a few embroidery ideas on it.

Of course, I realized the scale of the trees was off so I decided to appliqué a larger one. I’m hoping the curves in the purple will give the impression of some hills even though my piecing is straight.

You might have noticed that I’m not working on the Dresden Plate block and stitching along with the TAST group but I have been trying to incorporate the stitches in my postcards and these embroidered pieces. I won’t necessarily do them each week but I am keeping the list and will be trying to use them all during the year. I’m going to have to come up with a different idea for the Dresden Plate … Maybe even just abandoning it. We’ll see.

What app is this? Is it only on the iPad, or is it available on the iPod Touch, too? I love making lists and this looks like something I would enjoy having.

You know that I also love lists and I’ve tried several electronic list tools. For some strange reason I still have to make my lists on paper. I don’t know why but there’s something about the process of writing the tasks and marking them out that is important for me. weird.

LOVE this and can hardly wait to see the finished project! Also love that you have wine in the morning, I mean your evening at 6AM!!! This afternoon should be great for sleeping if the rain transpires!
