Tranquil Landscape

Moments of peace, calm, and tranquility are found in nature’s beauty.

Thank you all for the suggestions and thoughts that helped me come to the name and accompanying statement needed to register the quilt with AAQI.

On a sad personal note, I lost my uncle yesterday after a long illness. Please forgive me for not responding to individual emails right now but I need a little time.

No need to respond, Mary. Very sorry for your loss. Uncles are VERY special people … mine were like “Second Dads” and I miss them still. The photo is great; he looks like someone I would have enjoyed knowing. God bless.

We all understand. Take the time you need. It is hard to lose someone special.
You do speak to our hearts too in all the quilts you share with us and in how you so freely give us ideas and help. You even answer my dumb questions! 🙂 Know that my prayers are with you and your uncle’s family. K-

I am sorry for your loss Mary. I lost my uncle last year; he was 50 years older than me and he and my father were inseparable. It leaves a hole in the family that is for sure. Take care.
