LOVE this quilt!
September 14th, 2012 | Author: Mollie
Linda, QOVF coordinator in Alaska wrote and shared this photo of her version of my Churn Dash and Stars quilt. She asked my permission to use the instructions for a class and wrote:
I’m attaching a photo of the class sample I made, and which will soon be covering one of our veterans.
I think it’s gorgeous!

Beautiful quilt. Even better because it is for such a worthy cause.
That is one awesome quilt!
I think it’s gorgeous too!
Great cause, absolutely beautiful quilt! Thank you, Mollie, for sharing.
What a stunning quilt! I’m sure that the veteran who receives it will love it!
I am going to have to make one now – it is stunning. Thanks Mollie for providing the pattern and the paper piecing information.
Love it. Such a worthy cause Linda. A well earned pat on the back to Mary and Linda both.
Oh, wow!!!! That is gorgeous. And what a great class that will be.
Mary, Lincoln QOV loves your patterns also!! We’ve used several!! Happy Quilting! Miss you guys!!
Wow! Such a lovely quilt! You’re not going to believe this, but I just finished putting my borders on mine TODAY!! I’ll probably post it on my blog either tomorrow or Monday. I’ve loved that pattern since you first put it on the website.
Have a wonderful and Blessed day

This really is beautiful and some veteran will be thrilled to receive this.
She really did a great job and the pattern is fantastic. Another example of good works.
Aww, I love the churn dash block and I have been so resisting making this quilt. I think I will have to sit down and work out yardage so that the next time I am at a quilt shop I can pick up the fabric I need. I love the look of a scrappy quilt but sometimes I like to be able to strip piece.
Thanks for sharing your pattern and the photo.
Such a beautiful quilt!
It is Beautiful! Fantastic pattern, and for a great cause too.
I love both of these quilts. You are so generous to provide the patterns! When making quilts as gifts, it is so nice to have so many patterns to pick from and isn’t it neat how the choice of colors makes each quilt different. These quilts are so special because they were made out of love. Cheers! Evelyn
What a beauty! LOVE R/W/B quilts in general but this pattern really sets those colors off. Great job and kind of you to share the pattern with all of us!
