Books I’m reading

Chesty is making it so much better for you. What a lovely pose. Sure it will look lovely once quilted and I am sure someone will love it.
Sashing does pull things together. I love your scrap quilts.
I think it’s wonderful – I bet that by the time you have the blocks and sashing assembled, you’ll feel its charm. And speaking of charming: Chesty is beautiful!
(BTW – thank you for the simple Security Comment, the ‘other kind’ seems to be impossible for me.)
The quilt is great for a scrap quilt, they are not often gorgeous, the dog now, he is just adorable! Is he Maltese ? Micki
“one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”; I think the scrappy log cabin is lovely!
Both Chesty and the quilt are adorable – your scrappy quilts are always an inspiration and I’m looking forward to seeing the sashing!
Chesty looks ready to go! What a cute face.
You know, I recently had the same experience where I didn’t like the top until I put the borders on and then quilted it. It was much better after that. Hopefully you will have that happen too! K-
I think your quilt is wonderful it will keep someone warm and I love all the color. I am very partial to log cabin. I can’t wait to see it finished. Have an awesome day
High five’s for seeing it through to the end!
This is the point where many of us would put it aside and just move on to something else. I’m inspired to go back through a couple of UFO’s and get them quilted and on their way to new homes. : )
Good Morning! What a handsome puppy! He’s such a cutie! It doesn’r have to be your favorite, but just remember the someone who gets this quilt is going to love it and be so happy that you made it for them! Give Chesty a hug for me!
Mollie, I love your log cabin quilt and I know someone will be blessed with receiving it. Also, Chesty looks like he smiling!
Take care.
I like the quilt but I don’t like the green fabric on the side that you were considering for the outer border. I think I’d make the outside the same colour as the sashing. It’s kind of homespun, old fashioned with the scrappy look and I am sure it will be great when it’s all finished … one of your pantographs will make it beautiful!
Chesty looks very smart in front of your quilt. He reminds me so much of our beloved BJ, who was a Bichon cross.
With a sewing partner like Chesty, your project will be finished in no time. He is such a charmer: I love his smile and his expressive eyes.
Never mind the quilt….Chesty is looking very handsome & I bet he thought you were taking a picture of him. Once the quilt is all put together and quilted you might change your mind.
I understand completely. I have a couple of sets of blocks right now that are UFOs primarily because I don’t like how they look together or don’t like the colors as much as I expected. I like the bright colors in your blocks so they will probably look fine once it is sashed. And then the quilting always makes a quilt come alive.
I’ve had a few where I’ve felt the same way, but once they are quilted, I like them much better. Chesty looks like he is posing for the pic., so cute.
Chesty is adorable! He looks like he knows the camera is on him! I like your quilt.
Chesty is giving it his stamp of approval! I am sure the recipient will love it. I have finished quilts I was not totally into either. Its harder to give those away than the ones I like. I feel like I’m giving an inferior product!
I like it — so bright and colourful.
At least you have a very cute helper!
I like it and Chesty is as handsome as ever!
Oh, you want me to look at the quilt when Chesty is right there?! Do I have to? LOL He’s so cute and cuddly!
Your quilt is so pretty! And so is Chesty!
