Another finish

This one pieced by Tish and designated as a HeartStrings QOV.

I spent the morning making and attaching binding on #3 & 4 and they’re now ready for hand stitching but before I start … A walk downtown in the snow!

  • Your walk in the snow looks like fun, and the quilt is gorgeous. The gold complements the string blocks really well.

  • Oh that snow, we are forecast for some here but up to now we have only had rain. Love the quilt.

  • The quilt is beautiful! and you look beautiful in the snow too!

  • Marilyn McKinnon:

You are so lucky to have snow. I fear our winter is over. Things are melting—-and we are supposed to be in the frozen North here in Canada! We need some new white stuff. Marilyn

  • Another lovely quilt!

  • Cyndi Holguin:

I love the quilts but I mostly love the Snow. I wish we had had some looks like winter is over here. and no snow no rain so sad :( Maybe next year. All we have had is lots of wind Yuck. Have fun looks like tons of fun.

  • Carolyn in NC:

If Keith is the one out there holding your quilts up in the snow for you to take pictures (or if he’s the picture taker for you) he’s the best husband ever!

It looks as if your snow walk was fun. I hope you didn’t get too wet.

  • What’s the temp on that snow-walk Mary? That looks pretty frosty. The quilts are beautiful.

  • SaraF:

This QOV is really pretty. There is something special about that addition of gold with the reds and blues. Love it.

Looks like you had the same snowy weather in the cities that we had out here over the weekend. Schools are still closed today while the roads get cleared. Even my education coop is closed so I have a day off to play in my sewing room.
