Daydreaming
I’m not a fast knitter and sometimes I spend more time looking at/for patterns than actually knitting. Ravelry can be dangerous!
I’ve got a couple scarves, a couple shawls, and a baby blanket in the queue in addition to hats and socks and I’ve ordered even more yarn.
How’s this for an impressive EASY circular shawl? Vortex Shawl I couldn’t decide on purple or red so I ordered yarn in both colors and will decide which to use when I get home.
In the meantime, I’ll finish the fisherman’s rib scarf today and hopefully a couple hats while I’m gone.

That is a beautiful shawl! I downloaded it; it certainly does look easy. I have too many projects in my ‘to do’ box now. Will see. Thanks for sharing.
Knitting and quilting are like breathing; sometimes you need to exhale! What I mean by that is never discount your soft dreamy pattern gazing as being less than productive. It is all part of the process that we are blessed that you share with us. Happy Valentine’s!
I agree that Ravelry’s dangerous. There are just so many patterns to dream over and sumptuous yarns to drool over ~ all part of that wonderful creative process.
I get stuck in Ravelry too. I need to stop looking and do more knitting!
That’s in my queue too! Yes, Ravelry can be a time “waster” — that’s why I avoided joining for so long!
I love the look of that shawl! I think I will have to keep slogging on trying my socks 1st. It would be nice to FINISH something before starting something new; for ONCE!
