Books I’m reading

I love this already!! I reminds me of the forest and the sun twinkling through leaves of trees… can’t wait to see it all put together!
Michele T. described my feelings too. I love that border fabric. Do you know the name and manufacturer?
That border fabric is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for the hourglass blocks. Good choice!
I love what you’ve done so far on this quilt. That’s perfect border fabric too
)
Great colors. Looks wonderful already.
It is perfectly Spring! Lovely quilt.
This is beautiful. I especially love the colors.
GREAT quilt, Mary … what a delight for these winter-weary eyes!
I’m loving it too. Another great example of choosing the border (or the back) first and then customizing the controlled scrap palette to work with it. Too often I do the center first and then can’t find just the right border to go with it. Your way is much more effective.
You should bring that one to Georgia! Reagan (and her Dad) love this quilt!
Would definitely be one of my favorites. Perfect border fabric.
I chuckled! I’m likely to give my quilts prosaic names like “Scrappy Log Cabin” or “Hearts and Squares” unless a really good name presents itself straight away (like “Dotty Bright” — so named because it was made of very bright fabrics and the back was composed of dot fabrics plus it has a wide border of colourful dots on the front!)
