Camp is over!

Final photos of my Radiance Shawl – ¬†Project 3. I won’t provide an extreme close up but as you can see, I was able to do an adequate mending job on the hole and I’m quite pleased with the shawl in general.

And one more photo – knit projects are so hard to photograph well but I think I’m getting better with more experience.

Hello Mary. Beautiful shawl. Thought you might be interested in a pattern I am doing for my daughters wedding in October. It’s called Glitz at the Ritz and is free on Knitty. I am knitting it without the beads and in fingering weight. I increased the needle size and it is beautifully lacy. Really easy and works up fast. Knitting is so relaxing and almost cheaper than therapy I think! Cheers. Marilyn

So gorgeous, Mollie! My heart sank when I saw the hole that appeared during blocking. That happened to me once and I nearly had a heart attach, so I know you must have been flabbergasted and shocked when you sat it. Your mending looks perfect!

I love the look of this pattern. I’ve got 800 meters of gorgeous merino/silk fingering weight that looks like it might be pretty as a Radiance shawl…trying to keep myself from dropping everything and casting on!
