This is going to take a while

I did get Mom’s top loaded and I started the quilting. Not my favorite kind of quilting but hopefully I won’t mess it up. First I pulled my threads. 8 times out of 10 my thread choice is Permacore.

I like this little curl for small borders, it’s very forgiving.

For the large border, an allover wonky feather.

My stamina for standing at the machine is a little low so it’s going to take me a while to finish this one.

It is going to be beautiful when you do complete it. Take it easy, take care of your foot and here’s hoping that Chesty will recover completely soon and be as good as new!

Have just seen a long arm machine in action for the first time and didn’t realise there was so much physical effort involved. I thought once programmed it would work by itself! Wishful thinking …

First priority is your recovery ~ the quilt will be beautiful when you get it done … take care of YOU and CHESTY first!! Linda

thinking of you and Chesty ! rest and enjoy some quiet knitting (with football, I’m guessing)

I wish I felt more confident about doing an overall quilting pattern when I quilt. I am so envious of what you can do on your longarm! I never seem to know where I am going on my domestic machine…
