Waiting and wasting time

I was waiting for Keith to get off a conference call and spent about 2 hours trying to decide what my next knitting project will be.

I know I wanted a beaded project …. So I pulled yarn and beads and laid them out together. I also was thinking about participating in the Ravellenic Games on Ravelry during the Olympics but I’m traveling twice in February and you only get two weeks to finish so I’ll wait to see what the categories are before I decide whether I can manage a project in the time I am home.

For tonight, I decided to cast on this scarf and I’ll use this red yarn and beads. It will be bright but I tend to wear a lot of red with black.

Thanks for the heads up about the Ravellenic Games. I don’t spend much time on Ravelry, except on my projects and stash pages (and occasionally my queue) so had no idea it was coming up soon!

    Happy New Year.

It will be pretty! I don’t think it is wasting time at all – I often spend LOTS of time dreaming over patterns and re-arranging my que, etc. and then I go and caste on another pair of socks, LOL! But it is relaxing for my mind and makes me happy, so no time wasted at all! Cheers! Evelyn
