Bringing in the New Year

A walk by the river, homemade spaghetti for dinner, a quiet evening at home …. How are you bringing in the New Year?

We ordered our favorite pizza and spent the evening watching old movies. It’s too bitterly cold to want to venture out for long anyway. We are going to play cards tomorrow afternoon with some friends. Pretty low key.

    Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Molly, Keith and Chesty. George says Bark bark BARK! to Chesty. He is sitting next to me as I type this and saw Chesty’s picture. 🙂

We watched a film, The Heat Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, very good. In bed doing a suduko puzzle in bed at midnight? Who said us oldies don’t know how to party!
Happy New Year may it bring you all that you wish for

After cleaning out the bathroom sink drain (yeah, we’re a fun couple), we discovered our furnace would not come on. Had a very cold night – 14′ with snow and wind. Owner of the heating/ac company (who has known us for years and is a good guy)came right away today and cleaned off the troublesome igniter switch and we are warm again!

We were cleaning out the drain on New Year’s Eve because of that saying that what you do on New Year’s Day, you will be doing all year. Instead we were dealing with a much bigger problem on New Year’s Day!

Happy New Year to you and Keith. The breakfast looked delicious!!

Was 100 Degrees F here in Kalgoorlie Western Australia, but rain and a temperature drop made life more pleasant.

We spent a cold evening working a jigsaw puzzle ~ quiet but cozy. Best of health, prosperity, and happiness to you, Keith & Chesty for 2014.
