I’m going to bore you the next couple weeks I’m afraid. I just got home from VA last night where I didn’t do much much other than a little knitting and crochet while I was visiting with my family.

I have just a few days before heading to Costa Rica with Habitat. Keith will be staying home with Chesty (and working of course, someone has to!).

Today I checked out our new Dunn Brothers. They moved just down the street and I have a view out the window of one of the bridges over the train tracks.

Lots of snow piled up everywhere still … Unlike VA where they got an inch or two and it melted in the rain an hour later.

Heading to the library now for my volunteer shift.

I love your pictures of your adventures. Nothing you post is boring! Quilting, family, knitting, snow! I love it all, that’s why I keep coming back. Out here in California, we would pay to have some of that white stuff. I think we’ve had 2 days of rain this season, can you send us some?

Glad you made it home safely. Hope your trip to Costa Rica is good. Look forward to hearing about it. We had another 5″ of that white stuff last night and our banks are higher than I ever remember seeing.

Hope Jimmy Carter is going along on your Habitat trip?! Now wouldn’t THAT be fun! (He must be getting quite elderly by now) … My brother and his wife worked with Habitat for Humanity in Mongolia for several years but are now back home in Canada. He works with homeless people in Calgary, Alberta — so still in the “shelter” field. Blessings on your travels ….
