On the plus side

There are things I don’t like about the apartment here but there are some positives too. I didn’t plan to sew today but I’ve found that one level living is very conducive to stealing away for 15-30 minutes and sewing a block or two. I’ve even been leaving the next block laid out and ready to go in case I have a few minutes.

  • This color scheme is looking terrific. I really like the 4 patches in there too.

The stairs down to my sewing room are one of the things I dislike about having my sewing room in the basement. And the lack of a view. I have 1 egress window and one high small basement type window. But the room size is perfect so I guess it will stay put.

  • Very nice colors and fun block for using up small pieces of scraps. Do you have an overall quilt top in mind or just winging it? Either way, it will turn out beautiful I’m sure.

  • I as well in Dar’s camp. Do you have a quilt in mind and how large are your blocks?

  • Ann in Virginia:

Isn’t is amazing how quickly a block can come together in just odd moments of time?! I love that!

  • I have never lived in a place that there wasn’t some minuses and some pluses. Great that you found and awesome sewing plus.

  • Sewing on 20 to 30 minute bursts can get a lot done. Especially if you leave things ready to slide under the needle.
