I’m making lists

Just a few days before I head to GA for 3 weeks and I’m making lists. Lists of what I need to pack to go with me and lists of things to do there and to bring back with me.

I’ll see the kids and spend time with them, Keith will come for a long weekend, my Mom and two sisters will come for a long weekend, I have remodeling still in progress with things to attend to, My walk is just 4 weeks away so I’ll have to continue my training, AND I’m going to quilt tops and cut out some kits to bring back with me in my spare time. I’m tired already!

On my list is cutting out a scrappy drunkard’s path quilt so I can participate in Vicki’s sew along but if I have time I’d like to cut out a second small top too … I love how this little green and purple one turned out … Maybe I’ll do another in pink and green.

Is anyone else going to sew along with Vicki?

I think drunkard’s paths are beautiful in all incarnations. I haven’t ever sewn curves and I am a chicken. Your list is impressive for most, but smaller than some I have seen you complete. Bottom line – I think you can do it and still have time to see the grand babies.

what fun! Love the bright colors. Our Guild’s mystery quilt for this year used raw edge “macaroni” blocks. Fun technique
