Our porch furniture hasn’t been delivered yet but we’re using beach chairs and enjoying the space today.  I looked for geraniums but Home Depot didn’t have them so I substituted these — they look great but let’s see if I can keep them alive.

Mary, the flowers look like New Guinea Impatiens. Just give them mostly shade (a little morning sun is good), evenly moist soil, and a little water soluble fertilizer every 2 weeks for lots of blooms all summer! Nice to see your guys looking so cheery! Hope Chesty has a few more good moments.

Congratulations on your new home! It looks like a comfy place to live and I hope the rest of the move in goes well. I wonder if the suggested citronella plantings would help with mosquito issue. That front porch looks like a nice place to relax outdoors and the perfect place for pots of pretty flowers.

Mary, I’ve enjoyed your shenanigans over the past months, the knitting, quilting, the travel and house hunting…all of it. So many times I thought that if I had the energy and were nearby I would love to give you a hand with packing, etc. I love your new porch and the impatiens…and I wish you much happiness in your new home!
