I have a finish!

This was one of the 3 Tumbler tops I brought home from the Maine HeartStrings sew-in to finish.

We’re packing for GA today, I pulled these 3 afghans and 2 quilts for donation   . Chris will take all 5 to an organization that works with abused kids. It will be nice to get them off the shelf and into the hands of the kids.

Love the tumbler quilt! Inspires me to finish the one I started. Of course, I need to find it first. There are so many things I need to find since I moved back to my house.

Love those quilts! As a child I remember snuggling under the afghans my mom & my grandma had made for us and putting my toes thru the holes. I think those kids will love them all. Instilling generosity in our children is one of the best gifts we can give them.

Remember this blog post when you have those frustrations of not getting anything done. I am the Comfort Quilt person for our guild, and I consider that quite a nice donation. Have a good trip.
