Have you seen this?

We get a lot of boxes from Amazon – whenever possible I do shop online – and after opening an email from them, I found a link to this program. Somehow I’d never noticed it before. You can generate a free shipping label and reuse your box to ship items to a charity. It looks like they choose one based on your zip code and the one they chose for me was not local but I think it’s a neat idea and wanted to share.  Click the link below to read more about it.

Nope I didn’t know this exists and I am a recycler at heart. I am always dropping things off at my local Goodwill or women’s shelter. I will be taking advantage of this very soon. Thanks for passing along the information.

How do they know that the charity wants the stuff I’m sending them? Do you identify what you are putting in the box or are the charities generic ones like Goodwill?

Have you seen the promo for the Amazon Show? When I saw it I immediately thought of you!
Neat way to keep in touch with family, but not inexpensive

Thanks so much for posting this!!! I make 18″ doll clothes and quilts for the Cincinnati Salvation Army Christmas store. I use to live there but have since moved. I spend over 30.00 shipping the items to Cincinnati! This will save me money that I can use for fabric and doll shoes!
