A hike today, a fall, and a trip to the ER. If you can call it lucky, it’s a sprain not a break but it’s going to slow Keith down for a while.

Glad Chris was there! And, just like Keith, he still smiles! Hope he feels better soon. He’ll probably wind up with a boot — ugh! Hope he’ll be able to work at home for a while.

Sorry to hear of this accident, but like Florence, I’m glad Chris was there to help. Sending healing thoughts to Keith.

Hope you get well soon Keith. Take advantage of the beeping conveyances in airports for a while and remember the better you treat it the better the odds that it will heal well. At least you were walking!

I hope he’s on the mend and healed soon. Was he heading out this week? Will it curtail his travels? I’ll keep both of you in my prayers…if he’s anything like my husband, you’ll need them too! :o)

A sprain can take a few weeks to heal. I had one in college. Had to use crutches for a long time. I’m so sorry this happened to Keith. I hope it’s not a bad sprain and he heals quickly.

Did the same a couple years ago. Doc at hospital told me bad sprains are worse than breaks….ugh.
Take care and stay off of it as much as you can.

I can sympathize!! I sprained BOTH ankles last year (on separate occasions.) It was NO FUN hobbling around waiting for healing, while trying to be ever-so-careful as not to do further damage!

I’m so sorry a bitter and hateful person felt free to write a negative email to you. As you said, “Don’t like it. Don’t read it”. I have enjoyed every post you’ve put up for years, and I do not demand 100% quilting coverage. It is very pleasant to know some of your family, the scenery where you walk and kyack and so forth. It’s YOUR blog and, as far as I know, you haven’t offered the position of Editor to anyone.

I just read your next post, in which you shared a previous comment. I have no words for it.
I only recently found your blog and don’t comment often, but I just want to say, this is your blog, you share what you chose to share, I personally enjoy your blog and wish you and your husband all the very best and hope that he has a quick recovery. He seems a lot like my hubby, who is incredibly supportive of all of my crafty endeavours, including accompanying me to quilty shops and helping me chose fabrics and layouts. Thank you for sharing all that you do. ((Hugs))

Why do some people think they need to be the editor of someone else’s blog with rude and
hurtful remarks… they must be a sad lonely person to feel the need to hurt others…
Have for years enjoyed your blog and will continue to do so – quilting – family – happenings
or whatever… Does the person know she can stop reading anytime and move on to other
things… Sorry you had to have that happen… I say Blog on with whatever is on your mind for
    the day…

So sorry Keith. I know how painful a sprain can be and I wish you a speedy recovery.

So sorry you had to encounter such a negative person. I’m sure most of us enjoy the glimpses into your personal life. Is there a way to block her fro your posts?

I haven’t visited your blog this past week, but I’m so sorry Keith fell and sprained his ankle. Just glad your son was there to help, and hope he is on the mend now. Unfortunate, but hope he heals quickly.
