The framed 16 patch is assembled. This was a Craftsy kit but you could make it with a Jelly Roll or 2.5 inch strips from stash.

I also unpacked a couple more bins … it seems like I’ll never get finished but I need to clear the area by the window by next week when they’re due to put in my hurricane proof windows.

    I have a stack of 16-patch blocks that my quilt book study group exchanged in Civil War repro fabric. This might be a way to assemble them rather that just side by side. I like the way you rotated them so that the seams didn’t hit each other. Good luck with the hurricane window installation. I’m surprised all construction in FL doesn’t come with them.
