My Stash

I’m back home now. I didn’t get any quilting done today – went to a movie and dinner instead and we have a New Year’s Eve party to go to in a couple hours.

I decided to take and post a picture of my stash, or at least part of it. There are a couple medium sized bins filled with strips and strings that aren’t in this picture.

I’d like to say that this is messier than usual but messy has become the usual these days. I need to straighten it all up again.

It’s probably just as well that I didn’t get any work done today since I’m thinking about joining the 100 yard dash on the Stashbusters List. I should use up quite a few yards with the borders, binding, and backing of the two twin sized quilts I’m going to work on first.

  1. Welcome to the Stash Ring, and thanks for sharing the photo of your stash. Looks like fun to play in 😉 Mine gets messy so quickly, so every few weeks I try to neaten it up. And then I buy more. ooops, did I say that??Happy New Year!

  2. It’s a brave lady who will post pictures of her stash! One day when I can shovel enough junk out of the sewing room so I can get to my stash maybe I’ll post pictures too. And believe me, compared to mine yours is VERY neat.

  3. Wow, what a NICE stash!!! Right now I am waiting for a shipment from the US of some more stash and can’t wait for it to come. Thanks for your nice comments about my log cabin quilt. I am sorry, I don’t know the name of the panto my long arm quilter used, but she might have written it down on my receipt – which I can check for you in April when I get back to Canada. I love that pattern too.Cheers!Evelyn
