Adam (my youngest son) came to visit for a couple days so we headed for the mountains. This afternoon we went canoeing and had a great time. Keith gets home from California late this afternoon so we have dinner plans overlooking the lake for this evening.
I took my small camera with us and as you can see from the 2nd picture, the one of me, the camera went bad after about a 1/3 of the pictures. I’m so upset because I had some really great pictures. The camera is about 2 years old but probably more expensive to fix than to replace. I guess I’ll have to see.

Oh, I can’t stand being without a camera – I hope you get a great replacement that will last more than 2 years. How frustrating for it to die right in the middle of a fun day.Cheers!Evelyn
well, at least you had fun with your son Chris! too bad about losing those photos..that sucks. What a wonderful green quilt your mom did-I can understand why you hate giving it back! inspiration to get going on your own perhaps?
Is Adam the one getting married or it is Chris? Sorry to hear about the camera because I get the other pictures you took while canoeing were good ones.

I love canoeing. So relaxing and quiet. As for the triathalon, it’s a very short one! I’ll be done in two hours and yours will take three days! I’d say you’ve got the harder task. Plus yours is for a good cause! 🙂

What beautiful pictures, too bad your camera went ka-fooey! I know what you mean about fixing it–that’s why we have so many cameras–it costs more to fix them than to buy a new one. What a sad state of affairs–we are such a throw-away society, and I hate to be like that, but being prudent with your $$ is important too! 🙂
