I quilted this on Friday before the boys arrived and just got the binding stitched down and the label sewn on last night. This is UFO #8 and the top was pieced from leftovers strips from my Baby Cabin I finished up last year.
Although not really a string quilt, I pieced those leftover strips on top of the muslin square like I do on a string quilt and I plan to donate this one with my other HeartString Quilts.
I totally love the colors on this quilt and the fans are pretty nice too.
Well, Mary, it’s really a beauty, and I love the fan quilting. You are on a tear with those UFO’s…I’m envious!
