For those that watch my reading list on the sidebar I just want to mention that I have really enjoyed the last two books I finished. It seems like a lot of books I’ve read recently have been OK but nothing great. I really enjoyed these two.

Nineteen Minutes by Judy Picoult
I just finished Nineteen Minutes yesterday. I think it should be required reading for high school students, and teachers too.
I haven’t read Nineteen Minutes but I do enjoy Jodi Picoult’s writing. I have read the Anne Rice book and I really enjoyed it too. I find it fascinating when writers do the kind of research that allows them to create such a story. I just finished Anne Lamott’s most recent book, Grace so if you are looking for something to read next – I would recommmend that one.
