Chinese Coins #4

I probably won’t get a chance to make this top before I leave for Virginia on Friday but I’ve worked up the EQ file and posted instructions on MaryQuilts.com. It’s titled Uneven Chinese Coins – as usual – my quilt names are pretty uninspiring. I have the perfect purple border/sashing fabric for it.

Keith is going to be home the next couple days so we’ll have some time together before I head off. I hope to reload the table quilt for Ann and finish it up before going to Mom’s but we’ll see how it goes.

  2. Love reading the post from Rodrigo, it’s fun to try to catch a word here and there! Love this variation on Chinese Coin, Mary.

  3. I love the design Mary, it’s really nice. One of these days I’m going to make one, and I think this will be the one. I like the different width coins. I’m with you, I can never think of neat names for quilts – when I’m naming, it is what it is.Have a great day*hugs*Tazzie🙂

  4. I am printing the quilt patterns out and putting them in their own binder called, “Mary’s scrap quilts”! Thanks for doing this so I have them for the future.

  5. Mary you are very generous to share your quilts with us, & I too am saving them. I love seeing Chesty. Leo badly needs some socialising, instead of monstering his sister,& playing the big bad wolf around here!Wish we had some parks like that.

  6. That’s a great design, and I’m going to try it with some scraps from the AmHero quilts – to make another one! Thanks for the instructions. Have a great time in Virginia!
