I knew this was coming

Chesty has to have surgery on his knee tomorrow. With ten weeks of restricted activity and a significant cost it’s a good thing I love him so much! They were going to keep him this afternoon but Keith has been out of town and gets home tonight. He’ll want to cuddle some with Chesty before his surgery so I brought him home and we’ll take him back at 7AM tomorrow.

  1. What a gorgeous dog – sorry to hear that he’s not well. Hope all goes well with him and that he has a speedy recovery.

  2. Give Chesty a snuggle for me. One of my dogs had ALS surgery and it was so hard to know he was in pain and I couldn’t explain it to him. But it will all be worth it in the long run.

  3. Oh, Mary, I’m so sorry to hear that Chesty has to have surgery. I’ll be thinking of you and pray it goes well tomorrow. Please give Chesty a hug from me.

  4. Wishing you all good luck with his surgery. We went through leg surgeries with our Corgi, and it’s wonderful how dogs will just continue to be optimists about life, even when it’s tough for them. We can learn a lot……

  5. Sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs for both you and Chesty. I’m sure all will go well tomorrow. Has to be so hard for you – just like having another child to worry about. I’ll be thinkiing of all of you tomorrow.

  12. I am sure all will go well. My mother had to have two of her dogs have this surgery with great results. It is interesting that I have heard several people mention this very same issue with their pets at this time.
